01

Who we are

Wolves United FC is a football club based in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This site is how we run our competitions — registrations, squads, fixtures, results, statistics and awards.

This policy explains what the site stores about you and what it shows to other people. If anything here is unclear, write to us at support@wolvesunited.club.

02

What we collect

When you create an account. Your email address, a username, and a password. You may also add a phone number and a profile picture. Your email address is how you sign in, so it has to be unique and confirmed before the account works.

When you apply to join as a player. Your full name, age, playing position, and optionally a player photo. An administrator reviews the application and may attach a note explaining an approval or rejection.

As you play. Appearances, goals, assists and clean sheets recorded by the match admin, the squads and tournaments you are entered into, and any awards you win.

When you use club chat. The message text, who sent it, and when.

When you send a challenge request. Your team name, contact name, email, optional phone number, preferred date and venue, the map location you pick, and your message. This form is open to people without an account.

Automatically. Ordinary web server logs, which include your IP address and browser, kept for security and debugging.

03

Why we use it

  • To run your account and confirm you own the email address you signed up with.
  • To operate competitions — squad selection, fixtures, results, and the standings and leaderboards that come out of them.
  • To let club members contact each other about matches.
  • To reply to challenge requests and other messages you send us.
  • To keep the site secure and to investigate abuse.

04

What is public and what is not

A football club runs on published results, so some of what we hold is deliberately visible to anyone on the internet — including people who are not signed in.

Public: your player name, photo, position, career statistics, the squads and tournaments you have played in, and any awards you have won. These appear on your player profile, the players grid, the scoreboards and the standings.

Restricted to club members: your phone number is only returned to signed-in players, captains and administrators. Everyone else — including signed-in general users — gets nothing at all.

Not public: your email address, your password, your chat messages, your application details and any admin notes on them, and anything you send through the challenge form.

If you would rather your photo or full name were not on a public page, do not upload a photo and tell us before you apply as a player — the profile is public by design, and we cannot hide an individual player from the leaderboards while keeping their results in them.

05

How we protect it

  • Passwords are stored hashed. Nobody at the club can read your password, and we will never ask you for it.
  • Email verification codes are also stored hashed, expire after ten minutes, and are destroyed after five wrong guesses. Asking for a new code cancels the old one.
  • Signing in gives your browser an access token, which the site keeps in your browser storage so you stay signed in. Signing out removes it. Use the sign-out button on shared computers.
  • Administrator functions — recording results, approving applications, running auctions — are restricted to accounts with the right role.

06

Cookies and tracking

We do not run advertising trackers, and we do not use any third-party analytics service. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to beyond what makes the site work.

The site stores your sign-in token in your browser's local storage. Clearing your browser data signs you out.

07

How long we keep it

Account and player information is kept for as long as your account exists. Match results, standings and squad history are part of the club's permanent record and are kept indefinitely — a season cannot be un-played.

One thing worth knowing: when an award is recorded, the winner's name is copied onto the award itself. This is so the honours board still reads correctly years later, even if that person has since left the club and their account has been deleted. Deleting your account therefore does not erase your name from past honours. Ask us if you want it removed.

08

Your choices

  • Correct it. Your name, age, position, photo and phone number are editable from your dashboard settings at any time.
  • Get a copy. Email us and we will send you what we hold about you.
  • Delete it. Email us to have your account removed. We will delete your account, profile and contact details, subject to the record-keeping note above.

Requests go to support@wolvesunited.club. We will respond within 30 days. We may ask you to confirm your identity from your registered email address first.

09

Young players

We run youth competitions, and player profiles include an age. If you are under 18, please have a parent or guardian read this policy and agree before you register. A parent or guardian can contact us at any time to see what we hold about their child, correct it, or have it removed.

10

Sharing with others

We do not sell your information and we do not share it with advertisers. We share it only with the service providers that host this site and deliver our email, and where the law requires us to.

11

Changes and contact

If we change how the site handles your information, we will update this page and move the date at the top. Significant changes will be announced on the site.

Questions, corrections and deletion requests: support@wolvesunited.club, or Wolves United FC, Dhaka, Bangladesh.

Still have a question?

We would rather explain it than have you guess. Write to the club and a real person will answer.
